Hiya - hope everyone is well. I'm a Forum Virgin so please be gentle

My wife and I recently bought a 2 bed apartment in Oroklini as a Jet to Let. Anyway.. I'm in the process if creating a web site for it using Serif WebPlus 8 which is OK cos all I'm doing is adding some text and pics at the moment.

My questions to you are:-

1. Any advice on who I should get to host the site ?
2. Should I get my own domain ?
3. I want to add an availability and booking calender - can I just buy one and integrate it into my site ? If so any recommendations ?
4. I was thinking of adding PayPal to the site to allow for on-line payments - any thoughts ?
5. How do I make sure the site gets hit (with a Google search for example) ?
6. Am I going down the wrong path of creating my own website - should I just hand it over to a handling company?

Any advice much appreciated.

For all web sites with site engine you need hosting with ASP.NET support (it used to build site engine - technology for creating dynamic Web applications). Why ASP.NET but not PHP or PERL or Java (their hosting little cheaper (10-20%) than ASP.NET)? Read here:

I know a company which can submit your site for £10 and its gives good results

i forgot to mention . its always better idea tou buy your own domain to make sure its yours .

Submitting your site to Google is all well and good, however you are not lightly to get traffic unless its SEO'd correctly in the first place

4000 results, im not supprised, as even this forum has got position 3 for the same word!!. True SEO is about going for the harder words, try getting no 2 for a term with over 6 million results, then you know you are doing an ok job of SEO!!! (mobile phones) web site is www.mobileshop.com !!!

i give up. i just try to help. visit www.luxvilla.net which will be ready couple days and search villa (170,000,000 rsults)and you will see. but its not ready yet. he is working on it. he have a master degree on computer science. i m not owning the website4life.com that i promote neither the submitting guy.
