no probs, went to polis a few months ago. (oct o6) they are building apartments etc there but not much else.along the north coast of cyprus from polis and carry on east there is nothing there at all just coast line and a few beachside houses. its a completely different world to paphos and down on that side.the bucket and spade is miles away in polis, if you know what i mean. there are a few bars and a short supply of restaurants.latchi is also close by but again not much there either.

didn't see any other amenities bieng built at all sorry

are you looking at buying over in cyprus?

probably not a bad long term investment as there is heaps of free land up for grabs up there.i guess five years you will see a different polis i think.there will probably be more hotels built i guess.one snag is tho is the time to get from airport to polis but there are rumours about building a bypass which should hike up the prices!!!

we have bought off plan too, in pissouri. i'm off over in may to pick the tiles and paint etc - cant wait :)

Done that, picked the tiles, work tops, flooring, white goods, read the book, seen the movie, got the T shirt  Seriously, when we visited last year, bought the place off plan picked everything at same time..........bit of a rush really, would have liked to have taken time and thought more about it. Now we just have to buy furniture etc. Don't know if we should wait to buy bedding/soft furnishing there (with new Ikea store opening this year) or buy here and take everything over. Enjoy it in May..........our build not ready until Easter 2008 :!:

Well, if all goes according to plan we are to pick up the keys next April and we thought we would either shop for furniture this October or wait until next year and purchase when we pick up keys ....... not very sure. Where is pissouri?
