There are no British troops in RoC.... they are in British Sovereign territory which was NEVER part of RoC. (I'm sure Piratis will provide the background history lesson!)

Cyprus is not a british colony anymore, the brits forced the cypriots to hand over land for bases. Its time that the british army pissed off, maybe they can all go to iraq where it is nice and safe.

I believe the quote was relating to British troops in Cyprus rather than RoC. I think you'll find that the SBAs are on the island of Cyprus.
