Bagis et al are begging the EU.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bagis et al are begging the EU.

Turkish State Minister Egemen Bagis, who also heads the negotiations with the European Union, said Thursday that if the European Union decided to froze the accession talks with Turkey, it would be a serious mistake.

Egemen Bağış, Turkey's chief EU negotiator, sought yesterday (29 September) to unblock Ankara's accession bid by calling on European Union countries to call referenda on the country's EU membership. Turkey may also chose to consult its citizens, he said.

Erdoğan has expressed Turkey’s disappointment over the slow pace of membership negotiations with the European Union and asked the EU to offer reasonable excuses for this situation as Turkey is already doing its part to adjust to the EU acquis.

“I want to particularly underline a fact here. That is the fact that our application to the EU dates back to 50 years ago. There is not a second country that has been kept waiting at the door of the EU.

Which TC fools here were bragging that Turkey is not interested because it looks like they're begging!

Has Turkey been told that there is not a second Country in the EU family that is occupying another Country's territory and by doing so it denies its citizens their human rights?
