Tpap’s corpse stolen!

I don’t know what to make of this but the corpse of Tasos Pappadopoulos was stolen from his grave last night at around midnight! :? His family is devastated!

Necrophilia? Some weird political message? A spontaneous juvenile act? :?

Grave robbers steal former Cyprus president's corpse

Thieves have stolen the corpse of Tassos Papadopoulos, the former president of the Republic of Cyprus, police say.

Mr Papadopoulos' body was removed after his grave was broken into overnight, officials said.

Marios Garoyan, leader of the former premier's centre-right DIKO party, condemned the act as a "heinous and terrible crime", AFP reported.

Mr Papadopoulos died of lung cancer in Nicosia in 2008, aged 74.

The robbery from the Deftera village cemetery in Nicosia was discovered a day before the first anniversary of his death.

The motive for the theft remains unclear, investigators say.

Mr Papadopoulos served as president from 2003 until he was defeated in an election in March 2008.

One of two things.

1. Someone thought there might be valuables buried with him

2. Turks took him so they can have a good time

Eitherway, its sick.

he should have had a guard minding him, as he did save us in 2004. Makarios does and what the hell for.

I believe that its not a coincidence that this happened one day before his memorial.. everything is possible..christofias is near a solution (whatever this would be) and many "patriots" in cyprus dont want even to think about such a thing.. whoever did this and irrespectively of his motivations, he will certainly cause the resurrection of the "NO" to anan plan supporters whose idol was Tassos Papadopoulos..a year after his death and already forgotten by many people in the island..through this event he returned to the foreground again..
