It is not a thread I feel particularly proud off, and I therefore feel compelled to open this thread in order to apologise to both GR! and Bananiot. The photographs were obtained from CF and so I believed they were fair game at the time. As most of you know, my photo is also on the forum and would have copped it fair and square if any of you responded in similar fashion.
It is not a thread I wish to be remembered for, and as a result I kindly request that ADMIN delete that thread entirely as it is in poor taste and out of character for me. GR! has attacked me personally at times, which is probably why I responded in such poor fashion, but Bananiot never did.
It is obvious to everyone that Bananiot and I had opposing views and there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, this is what this forum is suppose to be all about. But Bananiot by no means deserves photos such as these being posted on the forum and neither does GR!
As for Miltiades, he too has many views for which I can not relate to. Again there is nothing wrong with that. However, Miltiades needs to realise that we can not all be the same. He should allow these opposing views free passage and not act as a self appointed moderator or obstacle to free speech. By all means he should counter these opposing views with intellect and wit, which he continuously fails to do, but he should not behave like the almighty self appointed representative of the Cyprus Government and restrict other members from their democratic right to express their thoughts, whether they are serious or not.
Mr "The Cypriot", I naturally speak for myself, but your posts absolutely disgust me and your scatological references to "archidkia" are an absolute disgrace to yourself and Cyprus. I have no doubt that many people would agree, but you horkatiko talk is not representative of Cyprus and you need to cease with the Ttofallo rubbish. You make Cyprus look so simple and your mentality is simplistic to say the least. Most of your posts are not worth 2 cents and so far you are the only member who has managed to avoid all questions posed to you with smart arse and not particularly funny responses. Mas embrixes olous tha mesa.
As for myself, it is a big slap in the face being labelled a racist and under such circumstances it is impossible for me to continue. I thought I had made myself very clear as to the reasons why I temporarily adopted that infamous signature. They were of course to preserve other forumers freedom of expression and not to offend anyone. But many people chose to ignore this. As Talisker quite rightly stated, a member who has such a signature is only an indication that this particular member should not be taken seriously.
Finally, I would like to thank my good friend Kikapu for his sound advice and guidance. He has been the member I had found myself relating to the most and I hope to read many more of his well thought out political pieces and aviation threads...
