Hmmm... Can anyone tell us what's the difference between a Cypriot and true-Cypriot, Turkish Cypriot, Greek Cypriot, True Greek Cypriot, True Turkish Cypriot, Neo-Cypriot, Ottoman Cypriot, British-Cypriot, Rightist-Cypriot, Leftist-Cypriot, Catholic-Cypriot, Orthodox-Cypriot, fascist-Cypriot, Pro-American Cypriot(Miltiades?) etc.?

Plz list me the qualifications of a true Cypriot both in theorical means and practical means, plz.

For me:

1- Cypriot shall know to speak and write at least 2 or more languages of people of Cyprus.

2- Cypriot shall have at least 1 relative in his/her family from other ethnic group of Cyprus people.

3- Cypriot shall have fairly good knowledge abt the religious faith and practises of at least 2 or more ethnic origins of people of Cyprus.

4- Cypriot shall keep in mind that there is always possibility of disputes among the people of Cyprus who r from various ethnic origins and political stances and shall never despise them with insulting words such as "Gypsies", "Ottoman remnants" etc.

5- Above all other believes; Cypriot shall believe that knowledge is greatest power to confront all types dangers and disputes both arised from inside or outside.

Feel free to add more qualifications to describe Cypriotness. I don't believe there r Cypriots and true Cypriots just like I don't believe there is love besides true love.

look, i respest the wat ur saying but lets face it cyprus was first COLONIZED by greeks, sure there were ppl before them but first colony wer the greeks. then some phoneicians, egyptians and ottomans but they wer only 20-30 year rulers. hellenes have always conquered this land. now cypriots speak a dialect of greek, share in greek customs, and live almost like greeks from greece why shud cyprus bend over backwards for trnc if they jst invaded and illegally occupied the land? and instead of fighting them out we jst start to cooperate?
wat if i come into ur house break everything and stay? wat will u do? think about it?
but its true cypus is jst a puppet for greece and turkey in the ongoing relations of the 2 nations.

 You think Cypriots were created when the Turks invaded our island? We were Cypriots from much before that and we don't need to speak the language of any invaders to be Cypriots. If the invaders want to assimilate and become Cypriots then it is them who should learn the language of Cyprus.

U were just Orthodox Christians until the Greek nationalism was intoduced to u. Afterwards the Greek nationalism was spreaded amongst Orthodox Christians all non-leftist Orthodox Christians identified themselfes as Greeks of Cyprus. Cyprus wasn't ur island, just majority of inhabitants of Cyprus was Orthodox Christians. Being the majority of inhabitants of Cyprus does not make Cyprus belongs to u. Cyprus belongs to all her inhabitants. 1/3 of her inhabitants r TCs.
