Because that is just the way the US/UK and the NATO want it, and there is bugger all Greece could about this without losing half the Aegean on top of everything.

Because Greece is too bloody busy intercepting around 3,500 F-16 and F-4 violations of the Athens FIR, and National Airspace each year.

You can start by defining what you mean by asking if Greece considers Cyprus Greek.

Greek as in its a greek island in the same way that Santorini is and I want it back someday?

Or

Greek as in a country inhabited by a majority of Cypriots who are ethnically Greek?

Which are you asking Greece to mean in your questions?
