I will be away from my computer for a week. I wanted to leave GR with some thoughts from another True Cypriot with impeccable credentials...

I have lost both halves...

If you were me, I suppose you wouldn't complain like I do...

Because unlike me,you do not consider yourself separate from Greece...

Whatever Greece has you think you have too...

And whatever belongs to you belongs to Greece as well...

You were dreaming of Enosis with Greece for a long time anyway...

That was your only and biggest ideal...

Had the Devil not intervened,you'd still be having the same ideal...

And you'd make me believe too that we could all live happily together as part of Greece...

That's the Devil for you...

It played a trick on you...

And when you were so close to achieving your ideal...

You were so sure of yourself that you'd shut me up if I mentioned "Independence"...

Independence became valuable for you only after your megali idea was destroyed...

You couldn't possibly conquer the Devil...

Only a man who cannot feel unconditional love could have written this.

Cyprus is for no ones possession.

TCs will not use it to emerge as a nation independent from "Turks" at our expense.

No shaming tactics about rightful associations to Greece will give the TCs independence from Turkey.

Accept Cyprus for what it is and stop trying to mold it.

Show unconditional love. Let Cyprus be whole again.

TCs stop tearing it apart.

(BTW ... I know of the reverence shown to Sener Levent ... it does not wash with me!)

Both countries are the curse on Cyprus.
Turkey much more since she occupies a part of Cyprus , an independent UN and EU nation on its own merit.
