How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

the debate

Postby Piratis » Sat Feb 23, 2008 12:10 am

I just finished watching the debate between Christofias and Kasoulides.

It was the worst debate for Christofias. He was good in the previous ones, but in this one he seemed unprepared, uncomfortable and unable to lead the discussion correctly.

On the other hand it was the best debate for Kasoulides. In the previous 2 debates Kasoulides sucked big time. In this debate he was much better, clearly better than Christofias.

There was an incident when Christofias presented print-outs from the website of the daughter of Kasoulides as an example of the election campaign from DISY the last few days. On one hand I don't think Christofias should have done this, on the other it was insincere from Kasoulides to deny that those kinds of messages where planned by those that handle his campaign, as if there is anybody who doesn't know that already.

And why did Kasoulides named his daughter after him anyways? Is she Kasoulides "Junior"?

The website arranging these emails is www.kypros21.com it is not part of the official kasoulides campaign. The fact that Christofias took the bait and attacked a 25 year old and made it a pivotal part of his debate has backfired. He even went so far at some point to say that SMS and emails have been banned from election campaigns!!!! Kasoulides corrected him to say that negative ad's have been banned from the candidates offices'.

You are right Piratis
Sigma debate poll on who performed better Kasoulides 75% Christofias (whatever percentage of Omonoia supporters have TV's.)

Absolutely irrelevent. In a country where political culture sucks big time the most "important" bits that stuck out were those involving gossip. Typical Cypriot medioctity where nobody had anything of substance to say. I think it is a miracle we still have half of Cyprus left.

I hope the good sense and devotion to Cyprus prevails and that come Sunday the nail on the coffin is cast aside , and we live to fight another battle.

What substance???they are identical in the Cyprob....they differ in th EU and the economy. However considering that the only votes to be had out there are DEKO's then analysing in detail any of these subjects would go woooooshhhh over the voters heads.

(plus the fact that Christofias thinks the EU is based in Strasbourg!)

I wish I ve seen a more professional talk. There were so many things to discuss about the future and wasting a significant part of the discussion for a stupid thing it was as bananiot had said a joke!

Both said lies, many lies, trying to appease people in order to get extra votes. Christofias claimed that AKEL was enotiko (pro enosis) during the EOKA struggle and Kasoulides said he offered nothing to Papadopoulos on Monday.

On the other hand I watched Markides on Mega. He should have been in the place of Kasoulides.

From the debate we have learn the following

1.The doubts of Christofias if he is stupid (from what I’ve seen I’m 100% sure what the person he is stupid so I understand his doubts).

2.Christofias honor EOKA fight and the HEROES of it!!!!!!

3.The communists are brain dead bustards and their dead soul (yes they are fucking zombies) can’t accept to put an end on their psychological problems, Kasoulides offers them place in the new government like Clerides did (when they didn’t again accepted to keep the people divided) and they can’t because they are zombies to do the same because they based their pathetic existence on the division of people.

4.Christofias disappointed me totally and as a person, the man is dangerous and the issue with the daughter of Casoulides was disgusting and this bullshits are just feeding the reaction of the case (mi kakon) we will have this bustards in the government, he may be even worst from Papad and we will be living in a hell were only guns will be able to solve their problem with their dead brains and their dead souls.

5.On the Europe issue Christofias is still saying bullshits and the man because of his ideas and his party is obviously dangerous. The issue with Rote (president of the socialist party of Europe) is ridiculous. Rote was the biggest supporter of the Anan plan in Europe and after our rejection she was our biggest enemy. He can’t agree with her even in minus issues, the anti European bullshit he said with out thinking can’t in any way relate with the socialist party, she want him just to control him. The socialists are the biggest enemy of the party that Christofias belongs and he have to choose big time if he will go against his brothers of KKE and etc to open relations with Rote where like she showed her main aim is to get rid of the Cyprus problem where the Amercians forced them to let us in Europe with unsolved the Cyprus problem where the Germans were putting veto.

6.He tried to empower the bullshits of Chrisostomos B and insist to say what the bullshit what Casoulides bond to the priest what he will have the right to choose the minister of education(sorry that I do not know the exact word in English) where there is not one million for something that to be true or even if it was there is not one in a billion to know it. When in fact the previous president he supported like an idiot was making such agreements with the priests and it is well known.

7.Christofias opened the issue of the history books where I could agree with him but he said nothing with actual point except from the issue of the 63. If he open this issue I wonder what the history would said about Akritas and about the sub leader and the editor of Akritas plan the TPap thing. The whole case is ridiculous and I wonder how stupid is the TPap supporters to vote such argument. In any case on that he have my foul support, but I will need some pills against laughing because the endless laughing on this issue may kill me.
