"Expatkiwi" the Turkish extremist exposed!

Some of you may recall one of my older posts… “Sh*t happens when your brain cells are embargoed” …which exposed uneducated Turkish extremists trying to impress the online public with the most absurd GDP and similar figures supposedly for the illegal Turkish military base on Cyprus called the “TRNC”, posted in the Wikipedia.

http://www.atcanews.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=328

As an extension to that article I have for you today even further evidence of such blatantly erroneous and totally misleading media manipulation by Turkish extremists, this time invented and/or implanted by a regular member of ATCA and namely “Expatkiwi”!

There seems to be no end to the number of shameless, uneducated, Turkish extremist fools quite happy to engage in global misinformation, and this bolded piece that can only be described as utter garbage will not disappoint those seeking a good laugh…

Invasion
The initial invasion secured the port city of Kyrenia/Girne, and a raod access to the Cypriot capital city of Nicosia, which secured the northern (Turkish) sector. The second stage of the operation extended Turkish control out to cover the north-eastern two-thirds of the island, stretching from Kokkina/Erenköy in the west to Cape Andreas Aspostos in the east. This latter move was justified on the grounds that as the Turkish Cypriots had ownership of 31% of the island before 1963 - and were forced off into enclaves of just 4% of the land in the wake of the intercommunal violence, taking control of over 30% of the north was seen as redressing those land losses.

Now let’s compare “Expatkiwi’s” alleged 31% TC land ownership with what the Department of Lands and Surveys of the Republic of Cyprus has to say on the matter…

Land Ownership in Cyprus by Ethnic Group:

60.9% - Greek/Armenian/Maronite Cypriots
12.3% - Turkish Cypriots
0.5% - Others
26.3% - State/Church Land

Source: Department of Lands and Surveys
(Refer to Annex 14 in Volume II of the "Memorandum by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus" submitted to the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Commons, 27 February 1987)

These are the tactics used by scores of Turkish extremists these days who try to pass themselves off as “Turkish Cypriots” in their futile attempt to legitimize that which the entire world condemns; Turkey’s 1974 illegal invasion of sovereign Cyprus.

Regards, GR.

Are we supposed to believe the following source?

Source: Department of Lands and Surveys
(Refer to Annex 14 in Volume II of the "Memorandum by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus" submitted to the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Commons, 27 February 1987)

Viewpoint,

I do not know the reliability or otherwise of the sources of landownership posted by Get Real for the whole island, but I have heard Mr Memet Ali Talat, on live TV, say that the Turish Cypriot land ownership in the occpied north of the island to be about 16 per cent. Starting from this figure he elaborated that it was impossible not to exploit Greek Cypriot properties in the pursuit of economic improvement.

This may be the case but this land ownership issue has been discussed by our leaders so many times but when it comes to dividing the island the % for TCs is always between 25% to 29% so there must be evidence to support this dont you think. We can always solve this by having independent experts asses claims and exactly how ownership of land was dealt with during the 30 40 50 60s and then accept the outcome.

That's just in the KKTC maybe but combined with the TC property in the occupied South what would that make?

If you believe anything what the Turk hater GR spews out than you probably believe that a 20 stone fat Santa Claus can climb down an 8" chimney.

Viewpoint,

The territorial question from the Greek side was best described by former Prime Minister Mitsotakis when he met Mesut Yilmaz (then PM of Turkey). In a settled and mutally agreed federation the territory is not a vital issue so the Turkish Federal area can be disproportionate to the population. In an outright partition and I quote "we are not going to do you any favors, we will insist on getting our fair proportion of the territory" and Yilmaz shook his head in understanding. That about sums up my view too. There is a sliding scale factor to this issue depending on the type of settlement and on whether I have access to the other side. Perhaps my case is unique, which I do not think it is, but I am attached to specific localities of the island and not to the whole abstract idea of Cyprus as a generality.

There is nothing Cypriot about anyone who promotes the division and subsequent donation of a portion of Cyprus to Turkey.

I agree to a certain extent but people like Piratis cannot stomache 29% of the north being administered by TCs as put forward by the AP as they view as just another minority who should shut up and accept GC rule which you well know we will never accept we woudl rather keep the TRNC and stay isolated forever.
