Congratulations Cytanet; you have surpassed yourselves.

Normally it takes me between three and eleven attempts to log on; tonight it has taken twenty one.

Keep up the good work lads.

Sounds like it. A friend of mine uses dial up on Cytanet and it sucks almost as badly as that. I seriously don't remember it being that bad when I last used it about a decade ago (UK).

Personally I use the 1mbit package and have 2 VPNs on pretty much all day to a company in the UK, and I have hardly any problems. More with the company in the UK and power cuts than with Cytanet (couple of times in 8 months it has buggered up and been totally Cytanets fault and left me high and dry for a maximum of one hour).

Cheers

yeah but with adsl you have to be x close to the exchange so you never see full speeds.. cable is faster.. ive seen it and used a 24mbit connection for a long time in england and you have to be very close to the exchange to see fast speeds, as for gaming the upload on the high connections wont be mmuch more then 768kbit... they will probably be lower in cyprus... september 1st comes 2Mbit from cytanet that will be ok for now i wonder hat the upload will be, i asked them with no reply. well for me the uplads are bad int he village.. im guessing down in nicosia they will be good or ina centre of a town larnaka lemesos pafos
