Shame on them. SHame on those that defend them. When even Israelis are turning their heads in shame, its amazing how you still get non-israelis defending them.

These are shameful acts of war criminals.

YOUTH BRANCHES OF CTP AND EDON PROTEST ISRAELI ONSLAUGHT AGAINST INNOCENT PALESTINIANS

Image

A joint protest is being organised today against the Israeli government which refuses to stop killing innocent Palestinian citizens of Gaza.

Israeli’s actions have caused world wide protests and citizens in the TRNC are also expressing their outrage by holding protests in the capital Lefkosa.

The Youth Branch of the Republican Turkish Party-CTP and the youth branch of the Greek Cypriot AKEL party ‘United Democratic Youth Organisation EDON have organised a joint event where they will protest the Israeli onslaught against the Palestinian citizens of Gaza.

According to a statement released by the Republic Turkish Party press bureau, members of the CTP youth branch and the EDON youth branch have decided to show their joint anger at the Israeli government by holding a protest rally in the capital Lefkosa.

Members will start gathering at 5.30pm this evening at the 10. Yil Park in north Lefkosa. Then the protestors will start walking toward the Lokmaci crossing gate where they will cross over to south Cyprus and walk to Freedom Square and then continue to the Israeli Embassy.

Here they will voice their protests against the Israeli onslaught on Palestinian citizens.

Last week the two organisations met up and made the decision to hold a joint protest and issued a joint statement regarding the issue.

The statement pointed to the fact that Israel which started to bombard Gaza at the end of 2008 is still continuing with its onslaught and said that this attack was a sad example that humanity had lost its identity.

‘Israel has started this brutality with the support of America, and the CTP youth branch and EDON find this unacceptable’, it stated.

The joint statement also calls for international organisations to take real steps towards finding peace in the Middle East.

Meanwhile the Turkish Cypriot Secondary Teachers Union handed out a communiqués at roundabouts which condemn Israeli for its wrong doings.

AID CAMPAIGN FOR PALESTINIANS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THURSDAY

TRNC prepares to send an aid package to Palestinian civilians.
Civilians continue to be the victims of heavy Israeli raids in Gaza which claimed to be targeting Hamas.

Those who wish to contribute to the aid campaign of the TRNC Red Crescent Association should do this so by this Thursday.
The TRNC aid campaign for Palestinian civilians suffering from the Israeli raids in the Gaza strip continues.

Recently, an aid package worth 5 thousand 40 Turkish Liras in total was donated to the TRNC Red Crescent Association by the Association of Fight With Cancer and the Turkish Islamic Society of Culture.

The President of the Red Crescent Association Isilay Arkan said their aid campaign opened with contributions from the Ministry of National Education and Culture will continue until this Thursday.

Mr Arikan called on all citizens to back up Palestinian people.

Also speaking on the aid campaign, the President of the Association of Fight With Cancer- Dr Ahmet Tandogdu said they have donated 3 thousand Turkish Liras to help provide food and medical supplies for Palestinians who have been suffering from a tragedy.

Another statement was made by Hadi Turus- the Head of the Turkish Islamic Society of Culture who informed that they have donated 2 thousand 40 Turkish Liras gained from a bazaar they opened for the Palestinian aid.

The only thing missing is the sign saying "Bombed Baby Milk Factory" that apeared in Bahgdad when a top military HQ was bombed.

The terrorist organisation Hamas should be tried for crimes against humanity for setting up Missile and mortar sites in close proximity of civilians, they are the real culprits here not the Israelis.

Very sad, but as always there are two sides to every story. Unfortunately there is so much hate on this forum for Israel and Jews there is little or no point in trying to argue the toss.
If I may just add, I too find no pleasure in seeing women, children and innocents suffering but it goes on all over the world on a daily basis.

It goes on in an organised concerted govt effort by a Western Power?

Which other western govt is piling into a civilian strip of land and offering NO EXIT for the civilians from the battle zone. Come on Purdey, we know the rules, how come the civilians were not allowed to exit the battlefield?
