Cannon Shell landed on woman's house in Nicosia

Postby DT. » Mon Nov 17, 2008 2:06 pm

According to Phileleftheros what seems to be a Turkish cannon shell has landed on the house of a woman in Ayios Dometios while she was thankfully out and at work (around 10:30 this morning). The national guard believes its come from the Turkish occupation forces who are conducting a millitary exercise in the area.

FFS!

Halil. Give me some kids throwing oranges at my car anyday!

Are we to assume that if "One Turk equals the whole World", then one orange must equate to a Cannon Shell .... :?

It was an 81mm cannon shell, confirmed from the Turkish millitary. The Ayios Dometios school was a few metres further from this house. Its a miracle there were no deaths.

The official Government mouthpiece, the Cyprus News Agency, doesn't seem to know anything about it yet. They must have all gone home early.

They might be mobilising our secret stockpile of citrus fruit. missiles along with the elite and very fanatical citrus fruit picking battalions.

But we are importing the lemons from Argentina now, perhaps they will cut off supplies.
