Why partition is out of the question…

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

So when is one’s homeland worth dying for Miltiades? When the odds are stacked up in one’s favor?

Firstly let me tell you we are not suicide killers , we are Cypriots and we consider FIGHTING for our country much more productive than becoming a corpse. Those that think dying for their country is a privilege are the f..ng idiots who blow themselves up in order that they enter paradise.
I would fight for my country in order to defend my nation and my people .
My nation is Cyprus and my people are all the Cypriot people , G/Cs and Turkish Cypriots , however let me spell it out. If Turkey was to invade the free part of Cyprus right now then I would be one of the first to join the armed forces of the ROC and even at the age of 62 ( I was 62 yesterday ) would join the fight against the enemy.
However the current events dictate that reconciliation and understanding is more needed that a bloody war. The T/Cs are my people. Those that know me well can understand my sentiments , those that dont will just have to make their own mind up.
I do not consider that fighting against the T/Cs equates with fighting for my country since the T/Cs also consider Cyprus to be their country.
When more Miltiades , Birs , Halils , Icemans and Bananiots emerge then the chances of a peaceful resolution will increase tenfold.
Remember I opposed the AP so my views are consistent not influenced by who likes me and who doesn't.

bravo re yiatrae !, ...this is why I hug you and Kiss you.

So, how does it feel that you were "almost" a Nicos and would've been wearing those pointy shoes today with the fluffy red bobbin...

Well you tell me how does a fat Turkish cock feels up your arse and ill tell you how it feels to "almost" being called Nicos

I mean how sad can you get to actually try and feel good about "almost" beating us, that's pretty low GR, come on

Almost equals Greeks invading Turkey , losing the war , and then losing vast tracts of Greek populated lands in Turkey . Any similarities to 1974 events?

Yup, some never learn!

Liberating Cyprus is not about declaring war on Turkey, but defeating the Turkish military infrastructure that is illegally stationed on the northern territory of Cyprus, otherwise known as the “TRNC”.

For such a plan to be successful one would need to encompass the denial of any further Turkish reinforcements to the island and that of course means the early removal of all ports including naval, airstrips, and helipads, leaving only flimsy aerial drops to be dealt with by SAMs.

Any Turkish naval vessels attempting to assist the “TRNC” can be countered with the National Guard’s Exocet MM40 missiles with launchers, while the Turkish air force will be even more successfully dealt with by the vast array of modern anti-air units including…

I dare say that for the first time in their history, the Turkish air force will be really put to the test. As for ”TRNC” Turkish land forces, they will be dealt with by the National Guard’s…

Main Battle Tanks.............215
Armored Fighting Vehicles.....220
Armored Personnel Carriers....211
Self-Propelled Artillery.......24
Towed Artillery...............114
Air Defense Systems............48+
Rocket Launchers...............42
Anti-Tank Weapons...........1,513
Assault Rifles............115,000

…etc, so it’s not a pipe dream but an interesting operation I’d say…albeit with an expected price to be paid but that's another story.

Regards, GR.

Thanks for the posts Paphitis, Miltiades in particular needs to watch these videos and take heed of the serious message at the end of the second video.

It is a pleasure.

With such an extremely well equipped CNG, Cyprus should not fear Turkey. My favourite is the TOR Gauntlet.

Enjoy

It's cool but this is better as it can also deal with oncoming S2S from southern Turkey...

Truely amazing Air Defence.

I have studied it's capabilities. Very impressive.

The Turkish Air Force is now officially on notice.
