Does this tree remind you of how cyprus should / could be 2 seperate communities sharing one island for mutual growth. both equal and striving to support each other ?? Image

It would be nice if things could be that way.

But for that to happen, the political leadership would have to be as silent, calm, beautiful and useful as those trees.

laptanige, those trees share the same land since their roots are on the exact same place. If you dig the ground you will find that their roots are so intermingled that there is no way to draw a line between them and give to each one its own separate land.

Now wouldn't it be a pity to uproot one of the trees that has been on that spot for 100s of years and to replace it with parasites that do not even belong to the particular ecosystem?
