thinking about moving from scotland with my wife but cant get much details on hgv employment & employment in general. could you please help.all general info regarding employment , visa and how to move would be appreciated.

Hi, the only visa youll need is your bank of scotland one, and as for employment, which hgv licence do you have?

Not to sound nasty...hit the search button. This has been addressed soooooooooooooooooo many times. Good luck, its a huge step and not as easy as people think.

I Am not 100% sure about this, but the Hgv thing is a bit of a closed shop..
I dont know how easy it is to get Hgv work. .. I know the drivers went on strike this year
when the goverment wanted toissue licences ..

Not a hope in hell if you are not cypriot or married to a cypriot.Same with psv license.They will tell you there is work to get you to buy their properties and then when you get here they do'nt exist!So come over,rent for a while and have a good look round.It is a lovely country and nice way of life but you need to be financially sound to live here.If only the UK was as sensible with it's immigrants the Brits would not be leaving in droves!

flites take note -- you will have great dificulty in securing work as a hgv driver.
