Why isn't he President of Cyprus?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Why isn't he President of Cyprus?

Postby humanist » Fri Mar 16, 2007 4:03 am

OPPOSITION Disy leader Nicos Anastassiades has made a passionate appeal to Greek and Turkish Cypriots to make Cyprus “a land of hope,” a united, secure and developed country within the great European family.
“Let us put an end to mutual recriminations and promote mutual interests instead of confrontation”, he declared.

Because he's a total idiot. You probably don't live on Cyprus; one minute he'll say something and the next minute something else... he's our "Talat" equivalent.

GR, I laughed with delight at your post, because it is soooo soooo possible that he is just all talk no action, which politicain ain't? You are right I don't live in Cyprus. I do like the ring of those words though, I have to say they are very inspiring. At least with Talat, I don't think the poor sod has a choice after all he is just playing Turkey's game or at least till the next election when a settler will begoing for his job. How funny would that be?

Anastasiades is a tiger dressed in a costume...
Stay away.

Does anyone remember when he hired a comminications specialist to teach him manners? From one day to another he became an innocent lamb. It was funny hearing the lamb more often than not losing its temper and roaring

Shouldn't you be discussing the essence of what Anastasiades said rather than the quality of the man that said these words?
