How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The only reason I can think of that this may not have been done thus far, that the moajority of turkish speaking cypiots are at this stage, are denouncing the RoC as their country by being citizens of the trnc, in which case the population statistics are not 80% to 18% but much less, I have no idea how many turkish speaking cypriots are currently living in the south, however I would love to find that out. The voting issue that you beriefly touched on is yet another interesting topic that I would like some clairification on. Are turkish speaking cypriots living in the RoC able to and do they have equal rights to vote as their greek speaking compatriots? if not why not? is it time that the RoC take action to rectify these issues? I say yes. Mr Papadopoulos I urge that you take immediate action to ensure that all Cypriots ahave equal right in all domains of Cypriot life.

Yeah I though it was quite interesting too humanist. It was written by that TC journalist that we like. I can't even remember his name but I think you emailed him. I just found it while reading the news so I thought I'd post it.

Polis, really do we have to get so petty, can we not just learn and allow some places to possess turkish names, really. Is that where cypriot mentality has come to. the world is in constant change and evolution so Lefka is known as Lefke and is spelled as such, what is the big deal man, so Lapta is known as Lapta and not by it's pre- 1974 name so what it is just a name. If it will bring peace on our country why get bogged down by such little things.

Or do we move to an English language, so that in a few years time time well there will not be an issue. Because we will alll speak english. Or do we truly become billingual and as such there will be no issues either as everyone will refer to kyrenia as Gyrne and everyone will know what the other means.

Yeap! Lapithos just evolved into Lapta, just like 180.000 Greek Cypriots evolved into refugees or thousands of Greek Cypriot children evolved into orphans or thousands others evolved from human beings into pictures in missing persons lists.

Wait till the Neo-Nazis pick up on this: "... and during World War II a few million Jews evolved into soap."
