The feeling is mutual we feel the same repulsion towards the GC state south of the border, we do not claim to represent Gcs but you claim to represent Tcs theres a big difference there. Thats why its the "RoC" that should take steps to prove the represent all Cypriots raterh than continuing isolate and persecute only TCs. You have every right live to come north and stay but under our adminsitration like we would have to abide by your rules if we wanted to move south.

I am so sorry about your views VP…I sometimes think that you are so clever but some other times I think you are trying to make us believe that you don’t really know what is going around you!

First of all I want to clarify that I live in Cyprus and not in any South country! My country’s name is Cyprus and if you don’t know its an island close to Turkey, Greece, Syria, Israel, Egypt etc….if you take the map you will find it easy with this description…ok let get serious now!

The choice to visit the north is not mine…but they force me to live like that…they force me to stay in the south for so many years…and before few years they open the borders and they told me that you can travel but because you are travelling to this site you will have to issue a visa like I am travelling to another country…I didn’t even issue a visa when I travelled to Greece or UK…it is shame that I have to do that in my own country! Anyway I change few of my views as I said…and I have to and I will visit more often the north part of my island from now on! At least I don’t have to show my passport! Thank God of that!

My life you said is in the south…yes it is but it is like that because others decided that for me…it was not my choice you know! I am not saying that it was yours but don’t blame me for that and don’t keep me away by telling me its your life in the south so stay there! But let me tell you another thing! The situation here is not about pictures! Its not about see the north part of my island with my own eyes instead of pictures…to be honest I prefer to come and see friends than places…don’t get me wrong I do want to see and learn about my island but I would love to meet people like me or like I met their…not nationalist and with open heart for everyone…even that is Turk, Cypriot, Greek, British … we are all humans, made of flesh and blood!

You told about isolation from GC?? What we have to say?? Well I am not going to go through that one more time…I think we both know the real stuff…but tell me…just answer me few question and then we will talk about living in the north!

Does anyone talk my language in the “government’s offices”?
Does anyone translate any documents in Greek?
Can I travel around without getting lost? The signs in the road are by any chance written even in English?
Can I work in the north as a Cypriot?
Can I live their without the police coming in my house every now and then?
Can I travel without any visa?

You feel REPULSION towards your fellow Cypriots you pathetic , useless , sold out little arsehole of a department , how dare you little useless , here now gone tomorrow little shit express such hatred towards your fellow Cypriots , but I forget , you are no f..ng Cypriot but an Anatolian f..ng foreigner and the quicker you get the hell out of Cyprus the better for all .
Do us a favour you nasty horrid little shit of a department and piss off.

Is the above an example of the brotherly love you claim to feel for TCs?, the no hate campaign you obvioulsy lie about...if you read my post carefully you would see the feeling is MUTUAL mean that from your posts I sensed that the TRNC repulses you and I was trying to explain thta I feel the same for the "RoC" m talking about the state not the people in it. I think you own me yet another apology.

You still have not grapsed the reality which stares you in the face every day like it or not recognized or not the TRNC is a diffiernt country and when you choose to go live in another country you have to abide by the rules of that country, eg Japan, Australia etc. The choice is yours whether you want to move to the north or stay in the south, until a time when a solution can be found this is going to be the reality we will all have to live with.

With regards your questions about living in the TRNC Fanos has given you some very useful information, he is GC who lives and works in the TRNC a living example that it can be done and there is absoulutey nothing to fear as long as you abides by the rules.

Could you please reverse all you have said and put yourself in my shoes I to do not want to live in the south, it would be like moving countries which I do not want to do, I feel like a total foreigner when I visit the south and feel relieved when I come home to the TRNC, this must be the same from many others form both sides.

"TRNC" a different country like Australia Japan etc?

Stop fooling yourself at least vp, you are becoming a real laughing stock!
I presume this "trnc" thing is recognised as a country by the whole world then, is a member of the IMF, UN, WB etc! Get real mate!

Btw you don't need a visa to come and work in your country (the RoC) even if you are such a pathetic selfish creature. Be sure you will not be procecuted for your views. I am sure that Bir and Kikapu would have been either dead or jailed in your "trnc" thing!

As for Fanos, please give as a break! Shall we start giving lists of the TCs living and working in the free areas? I personally know at least 8 of them, and I am talking about young people around 30 who were fed up with all the shit the "trnc" has been serving them.

@ VP

Yes VP the reality stares me in the face every day … but I believe my reality is different from your reality.

TRNC is not a country. Cyprus is a country, Japan is a country, and Australia is a continent/mainland.

I told you I don’t have a choice, I was forced to live in the south. Which part of that you don’t realise? Should I draw it for you? Or consider you as a child and start my lessons?

Yes it’s true, Fanos gave me some very useful information. I dare you to meet him and talk to him. Then you can come back and tell me all this bullshit about working freely in the north as a Cypriot! Look it’s my discipline to respect others personal life, keep any information that gave me about them selves for my self, so I don’t want to say what he said to me about that its his choice to do that if he want! Even my dad’s friend Pyros doesn’t know anything about that! Only few stuff about my visit their! So make your research first on that and come back to me…I will wait!

By the way what exactly do you want to reverse? Did I ever ask you to come and live here? NO!! But you did! You always try to force us to do things that we don’t want just to please you! They only thing that I ask you is to have a coffee together. You said no! Ok that is fine! Then I ask you to tell me if I have the same rights as you in the north like you have in the south …and I still wait a clear no…because the answer is no! I don’t want anything more than that! I just want you to realise where you are and what is going on around you! Come out of your TRNC dream world!

As for TC working in the south … I know more that 8 … I know around 35…most of them work in building constructions and they don’t need visa or passports!
Any other questions VP???

VP........I agree with all the above telling you that Cyprus is a country, but I wonder why you are so keen to partition off this small island. Are you seriously telling me you would rather have a morsel of your country rather than all of it?

I leave with you with a story from my hero, Nasreddin Hodja which for me typifies the Cyprus solution.............

One day Hodja lost his ring down in the basement of his house, where it was very dark. There being no chance of his finding it in that darkness, he went out on the street and started looking for it there. Somebody passing by stopped and enquired:
- What are you looking for, Hodja Effendi? Have you lost something?
- Yes, I've lost my ring down in the basement.
- But Hodja Effendi, why don't you look for it down in the basement where you have lost it? asked the man in surprise.
- Don't be silly, man! How do you expect me to find anything in that darkness!

Nasreddin Hodja is one of my heros too,Nicole...
You probably know the following anectode, which also applies to the Cyprus problem,imo...

Hodja and his wife were woken up one night by loud noises from the street. Two men were settling their differences by the help of their fists.
His wife asked Hodja to go out and stop the fight. As it was a cold night he wrapped his quilt around himself and went outside.Soon the noises stopped and Hodja came back inside nursing a red eye...
-What was the fight about? asked the wife.
-It must've been about our quilt,Hodja replied.Because they hit me and ran away with it...!

Ha ha ha. And the GCs made a proverb out of it

"O kavgas itan gia to paploma" The fight was for the quilt

Here's another one

Two friends while walking in the forest saw a wallnut.
They started fighting who was to have it.
I saw it first one of them said
No I saw it first said the other.

Hoja who was passing by saw their quarell and asked:

What's your problem guys, can I help?

They explained him the situation and Hoja said:

Simple.
He took the wallnut, crashed it with a stone, ate the content and then taking the shells said.

Here. You take half of it, and you take the other half.
