How do you expect that everything would be solved if we completely deny the fact that we are greeks and they are turks? Are we so bloody uncivilized that we cannot respect this? We cannot respect the diversity of our island and we have to force a fake Cypriot idea so that the future generations can forget the problems we had? Whats wrong ? If the isolations lift and direct flights start then nothing wrong really . But anyway if you dont mind to wait that long we shouldnt argue this much about Cyprus problem and just carryon our lives happily. Why we argueing here everyday . For nothing.

Whether you like it or not we are the ancestors of the Mycenean Greeks and they are the ancestors of the Ottoman Turks....We're not an aboriginal race that was converted by Greeks and Turks respectively. (or arab in your case) I will argue that I have more in common with a Turkish Cypriot than with a mainland Greek, however I won't deny my roots.

....we shouldn't let that hold us back though from creating a unified country.
