Furniture shops?

Postby optimist » Thu Mar 15, 2007 12:59 pm

Hello,
We're coming over to Cyprus soon to start preparing our new house and have heard somewhere that you can get some very good furniture second hand. Does anyone know the addresses of any good second hand furniture shops, particularly in the Limasoll or Larnaca area? Also, can anyone recommend any good value furniture shops?
Thanks
Susan

Hi Susan
I have found second hand furniture shops in the pafos
area to be a joke... and thats an under-statement..
there is one shop called "NEW TO YOU" in pafos,
that sell second hand junk, for extortionate prices.
I dont know about lim\lar area ...

Hi Jambo, i was just about to warn anyone not to waste there time at that joke shop too,i was there on monday, there prices are a laugh, most of the stock items are actualy costing more than if you had to buy the same item "BRAND NEW" e.g beach coloured computer desk £75 suites priced at between £250/£499,ancient aiwa music centre £75, i bought a better updated one brand new from makro in Glasow last year for £75 !!!!!

I don't know if it this is an option for you but we found it much better to bring furniture over here from the UK.
There is much more choice and it is a lot cheaper and the money saved can go towards paying for the container
