How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It is not Turkey who is deciding..and I bet U already know it...then U had better start fighting the real responsibles and not the muppet...

Turkey is a big country with huge army. I don't think they are muppets of the Americans if thats what you mean. The only muppets are Cypriots both TCs and GCs and those powerful ones do whatever they want with us pushing us left and right and south and north and however they like :(

It seems to me the word "minority" has a special meaning in Turkish minds. It is almost as if the word means "subjects". Nothing to do with "numbers" but "power".

Turkish Cypriots have never been minority, have they??

Do the substitution and you get

Turkish Cypriots have never been subjects, have they??

Or perhaps the word "minorities" is a dirty word in Turkish history books and that's why they don't want to call themselves as such.

From reading the posts on here, i would like to comment it seems to me we cannot reason with the tcs as they state what there saying is correct and we should go and read more, and were stating what we say is correct and they should readmore. as they are occupying the country with the forces to scare us, they think what history they know is the correct history and wont accept what we say and know is our correct history. Everyone in this world has almost been at war and still are, but i think cyprus and the cypriot people have the right to have there country back to how it was before 1974.

I agree GreekForumer. Greek Cypriots were the subjects and it is as if the Turks think we should continue to be! They want to be the rulers like the time of the Ottomans and they do not accept democracy. They think that because they have a big army they can get whatever they want.

sometimes i sit and wonder to myself "what are we here for" what did we get put on this world for? for this all this pain is that a lesson god wants us to learn. The way i see it and i know many others do, people will disagree but it is there right too. Cyprus is cyprus and it belongs to cypriot people, like england is england and it belongs to englaish welsh scots, we cant help who comes into our country and try to take over we cant stop other countries from still going into other countries to take over, but we must accept and see who this country belongs too, if it doesnt belong to cypriots why be called cyprus??? if england doesnt Belong to english people why be called England and so on. maybe im naive but this is what i think and believe
