On the same basis that Turkish Cypriots were co founders of the Republic of Cyprus after the end of Colonial rule..Just because you lot kicked us out of the government and stole our position in the administration does not give you the right to call this island Greek Cypriots..

Restoration of legality & human rights is in order when it suits your rights what about the illegality and human rights crimes you lot committed against the Turkish Cypriots prior to 1974??
You can fool non Cypriots with your fancy talk that Cyprus problem started in 1974 but not us...

Until the day you stop treating us as a minority and start talking about our EQUAL rights as it was agreed back in 1960 there will be NO solution..better get used to that fact...

Iceman, go read (ALL OF IT) my thread on the Republic of Hatay and give us your thoughts on the the rights of the non Turks of that short-lived state.

(My favourite bit is when Premier Jelal Bayar says that Hatay "must be Turkish ruled" )

iceman in the Turkish constitution they say there is a Kurdish minority? Who is a minority is about numbers. You don't write it in constitutions! So now tell us what Piratis asked you and stop avoiding it!

Turkish Cypriots have never been minority, have they??

They have always been. Were they over 50% of the population? I don't think so! A minority with the support of a country of 70 million that wants to use them to take part of our small country :(

I don't know what you mean. Minority is about numbers. But this shouldn't matter. People are equal and if they are in majority or minority it doesn't matter. That is how democracy is. But Turks don't want democracy because they want to rule north part of Cyprus just by themselves because they have a big army and they can occupy it! :(
