he is still alive.he lives in north nicosai.sometimes ago he was in the turkish cypriot news papers.he was planing to open a court case against ''ROC'' that they are using his design yet.he was saying that ''ROC'' is not the same republic when he designed it.

The flag appears to indicate that the island is surrounded by the old 'Red White and Blue' brigade, I think we can all guess who they are, did I also detect a little reference to both UK and US in the musical arrangement ?.

The Annan plan flag was perfect for the Annan plan. The Annan plan was a partition plan and the flag symbolizes partition, with blue on one side, red on another. The dream of every Turk.
