Not sure if Andri will get this message. I was googling "Wilms' Tumor" and found her post. My baby daughter was diagnosed with bilateral (both kidneys) Wilms' Tumor last year. She had surgery and chemotherapy and now, a year later, she is in remission and doing fabulous. (Wearing her mama out!)

There is a wonderful email discussion list for parents whose children had/have Wilms. It is called "Wilms-Kids":

The people on there are so wonderful and they always have the latest research and were always able to answer my questions. I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

Andri said that they are back home and Eleni started having her chemotherapy ... they are doing well as far as she informed us...as for the rest...we have to wait from Andri!!!

I notice few post of her every now and then but not much...and I do understand why.

She mention that she stay home with her daughter taking care of her...and with family stuff and her therapy not much time for the forum i guess!

I hope she and her daughter are doing well. Well she has definitely our thoughts.

As for the card...I am a bit ashamed because in Cyprus I didnt have the time to do that...and just did that yesterday...a card and something for Eleni....but that was yesterday ... a bit late!

Thank you guys for thinking about us. Eleni has been getting her treatments on time because she hasn't got any viruses or clods so far ( cause mom is a paranoid cleaning person with bleach and purell) but she has been getting weaker, no appetite and not in a very good mood. She stays in her room a lot to watch TV and wants me to stay with her. So suffice to say I only have time to do anything in the morning before she wakes up, or after Charlie gets home. That's why you don't see me much . I pop in and usually check the forums I moderate but thats about it. I will keep letting you guys know though. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts.

still wishing you and family the strength to do what you have to, and all the health you need as well! can you try accupuncture for Eleni's side effects? or does she drink tea? there might be some good teas--mint is good for calming the stomach, and all the yerba mates are good. good luck!
