Tender Jesus, meek and mild,
Look on Eleni, a little child;
Help her, if it is Thy will,
To recover from all ill.
Amen.

That's very lovely, lovely Lena.

Kikapu...I am sorry if I will let you down a bit but that is a nursery pray that I changed a bit for Eleni...its not mine!!! But I really pray for her and Andri!
Thank you for your good words!!!

I don't care where it came from Lena, because the important thing is, some members on this forum, go to a lot of trouble to bring a little comfort to their fellow forum friends, and specially to Eleni, and that makes you lovely.

Thank you Kikapu...I believe those things ARE IMPORTANT and i prefer to spend some time for those "things". And i know that other people here do that as well!!!

You are more than welcome dear.

I was just thinking. Why don't all those talented poem writers, place a lot of poems to this thread to Eleni, so that, when she comes home from the hospital, her mother can read them to her, and perhaps, if they are a little funny (ha ha type of funny), that would put a little smile on her face.

Zan, Bir, Dr. Pyro, Lena and the rest.....................

I think we should start a new thread with only the poems posted there so as we do not drive Andri crazy trying to find them in amoungst all this lot. Look for the thread aptly entitled.....Poems for Eleni.

Very good idea Zan.

I have only written one poem in my life, and that was a "puppy love" heart break one.

You figure it out, as to when that was.

We are finally out of the hospital. Eleni will get a week's worth of radiation and 28 weeks of Chemotherapy once a week. They said they have 95% success rate so I am very hopeful :D

That's really good news Andri, My thoughts and prayers will be with Eleni, yourself and your husband throughout her treatment...

Eleni seems like a very strong willed little girl...I wish her all the best! :)

Hey Andri there is a product out there in health shops called Goji Juice hight recommended for energy and vitality, I have also heard that apricot kernels possess some healing properties for those undergoing chemp. Good news all the best and may God and the Angels look after you all.
