How about a DNA smaple as well mate....what about always walking with your papers on you for a spot check at any time. In fact we should also allow them to kick doors in at 4am and be able to search houses.

even in uk and usa they start to take fingerprints at roadblocks and because of the Location of Cyprus and the problems in Cyprus i beleive its good for All Cyprus. DNA can be taken if someone arrested for a criminal offence and keep the record of it. I m against searching houses.

In the UK Gav there would be a revolt if they asked people to carry arounf ID's. let alone provide fingerprints at rodablocks....And where the hell are these roadblocks in the UK anyway???

1 roadblock everyday near Stokenewington police station
2 near holloway road on camden road where is the ladies prison
3 near whitemen road next to finsbury park (only on summer)
4 Manorhouse station at night (sometime)
5 Central london regularly near ritz hotel

Now no girls on the roads because if they catch you you take a ladie from road then you will get arrested and your drivinglicence will be canceled and your family will be informed what you done. I m honest with the road blocks. Of course they take fingerprints if you dont have a id on you

Total BS. There is no law in England requiring you to produce ID, fingerprints or the like when out on the street. This is in the pipeline but has not been passed. Who ever is asking for ID at this points must be stealing your identity

Try to drive without id and you can see what happen . of course when they checked your name with dvla (police says DL check) or if they found record on your name(name Check) you will not have any problem. Otherwise you will get arrested . Doesnt matter law pass or not. I m sure about this . You should have something like bankcard , bill , drivinglicence, passport or smilar.
