Red Arrows

Postby micktreviss » Wed Mar 14, 2007 2:37 pm

Hi,
The Red Arrows practise their display techniques every year at RAF Akrotiri, generally March through to the beginning of May when they are assessed prior to being given their 'ticket' to display throughout the season.
They NORMALLY practise each day at 0800, 1000 and 1200, I say normally 'cos thats what they have always done for the past few years.
As has been said, the best vantage point is Ladies Mile but depending on the orientation of the particular practise display, the top of Curium hill would also be OK.

They were out this morning practicing – looked fantastic against the clear sky.

Has anyone ever had a go at kite buggying on any of the salt lakes?
