EU REPORT Re CYPRUS PROBLEM from Brussels >>Exclusive&

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby askimwos » Tue Mar 13, 2007 10:46 am

I guess this answers my question about whether this Board is part of the EU:

from: http://www.crisisgroup.org/home/index.cfm?id=208&l=1

The International Crisis Group (Crisis Group) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, with 120 staff members on five continents, working through field-based analysis and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict.

Should we now start posting reports from other think tanks?

GavCam, sometimes I am amazed by how naive people can be. "Trustful Source"? Is there such a kind of source regarding the CyProb?

The CypProb is an international problem and has numerous parametres which change from time to time. The most serious parameter in this case is the interest of almost all the Big Boys in the world who want a share of this unsinkable carrier in east meditteranean. This complicates the matter to such an extent which nobody knows what will happen the next day. One thing is for sure though, if cypriot people were left alone to solve the problem we would have had a solution that would have satisfied both parties long ago.

I have posted this before, give the Annan plan to the GCs but exlude the Guarantee Agreement, completely demilitarise the island from all foreign troops and make a couple of minor changes to improve workability of the state and step back to watch 80-90% of GCs approving the plan.
