The case of the 5 year old GC missing boy translated

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby cypezokyli » Wed Mar 14, 2007 10:15 pm

the touching story of the turkish corporal went one the last days.
he told a story how he saved the life of a youg gc teenager in 1974.
the 50 year old (today) recognised the man who saved his life, in an interview he gave today.
he thanked his saviour, and both expressed the wish to meet.

you see in a war it doesnt mean the enemies are all bad. people can see right from wrong but when they are in the forces and are told to invade a country they have no choice. but if you get a minority of good then some good stories can come out of it. i also heard this story and a few others from turkish soliders on the news it just goes to show there are good and bad in everyone

What worries me is that the grown man might not remember anything that the little boy went through before age 5.He might be happily married with his own Turkish family, and a succesful life. Can you imagine what the news of his true identity would cost him? It would probably cost him his present life. Can he go back to his previous life and have a normal life even with a loving mother?I doubt it.Yet the mother has the right to see her son again if he is alive.Another tragic story from the tragic saga which is the Cyprus problem...I hope all those responsible for this mess are having second thoughts about their lives' mission...if they still have two brain cells to rub together that is...

you only have one true mother and one true father, i wouldnt want two of them. this boy may be married and settled we dont know much more than we already know all his mother wants to do is know hes alive wether he accepts what he is told about his past is up to him, this is the next challenge to find his whereabouts and go from there i just hope for this poor woman she gets what se deserves

I can't see how it can possibly not be a drama,Karma, given the circustances of his disappearance. You'd be a really really special person if such a discovery would only add to your happiness.Alas,i don't believe in fairy tales...

I have already explained it with my previous comment, thinking positive is not bad..
