Are the ENGLISH people in CYPRUS are TWO FACES ???????

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Hi Gav,

You say that Cyprus welcomes all visitors. I understand you are Turkish Cypriot as my husband is. How would your family react if you were to marry an English woman?

Would they welcome her with open arms? I for one have not been welcomed as a foreigner. I am not English, I am Maltese and proud I am British. We left the UK to come to North Cyprus for a better life and in fact we are going back to UK because we feel there is a better life for our kids and us in UK.

We have found that the grass is not always greener and the sun is not everything.

Thank you sweetie pie that is all there is......... dumb Makarios thought he could take on the americans. That is the essence of the problem has nothing to do with cypriots of either side. despite of what we have all been made to believe.

You are right Baggieboy . I m a TC by the way .

IS THAT SO..........2 DAYS AGO YOU WERE ENGLISH..........born and bread in London..........but now your TC ? You slag off England and the English people, not forgeting Scottish,Welsh and N/Irish as they are part of the UK too, was'nt it the same UK that welcomed your parents with open arms and gave them a new fresh start in life and then you came along 100% born an Englishman and recieved a good free education, housing,Social security bennifits, free medical care etc,etc
When we Brits come to Cyprus or Turkey to live........we get "F*CK ALL" it is the fact that we have taken our years of hard earned cash to live on as that is the only way we can survive.
Final message from all True Blue Brits on this form to you .........watch your back and "WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT WITH CARBOLIC SOAP" and most important "NEVER BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU"

BULLSHIT
I come Uk not long ago . My family runaway from Cyprus when Cyprus were colony and because of the English System. I graduate in Cyprus. My family and myself never get any benefit from UK and we paid a lot of taxes in UK. Medical care anything happen to me i fly Cyprus because here is very bad healthcare. Being british doesnt mean that i m English. I only have the passport and pay taxes for UK. Never UK give my family welcome with open arms. It was very hard time for them because they have to work hard and i have to do same. We pay only tax for your country. we didnt have any benefit or help. What you talking is the people here are the lazy refugees and lazy people who lives like a dead. WE FEED UK YEARS AND YEARS and still today i m feeding them with the taxes i pay, what are you talking about. And i dont accept your message from the all brits because all are not same like you.All english welcome to my country as long as they are good person. Did you ever get bad attitude in cyprus or turkey? But i get in UK because here many people dont want the foreigners. but in cyprus we welcome to all foreigners.

Ok then........your calling me a liar.......how many other members on this forum do you think read your slip of the tounge quote, when you said you were born in the uk,if i looked hard enough i could find it ,but i've got better things to do with my time, than wasting it looking through your stupid, childish, crap postings mate........your parents fleed to the UK when Cyprus was a colony did they?.......WITH YOU !!!!!!! I dont think so mate, who do you think your trying to kid, this is an adults forum and should be respected as such,so please keep your playground shinanigans to yourself in future.........now run along to the shops and buy some sweeties and leave us adult grownups to enjoy our peace and quiet !!!!!!

GavCarcom was born after Cyprus ceased to be a colony, so I do not understand the 'colonial' references.

Are you playing with my words ,
My mum was 10 years old when they moved to uk and doesnt mean that all the time they stayed in uk .they was travelling between uk and cyprus. But they You cant get some people life is different from yours. My father from Limassol and he was just finished the new house on 1973 which they should move in but they were living North Cyprus because my mum from North but in this time they had business same time in UK. After 1974 war they fly uk and they come back 1976 then they fly back to only to i born there to i can have british passport . Still today my mum travelling between uk and cyprus regularly min 3 times a year. My English is poor because i spend every year 5 months in different countrys which is the Cyprus is the longest i spent and i didnt go any school in UK .I start to live in uk regularly last 7 years but still i m not here all the time. Another thing my family doesnt mean for me only my mum and that . I have nearly all my family here and USA . You have to understand that when i say you move doesnt mean you will never travel that your country again.
About marrying English Girl or any other nationality, just let you know that its no problem at all. Anyway i have a child already she cant speak Turkish at all because her mum is English. My family (all) they love my doughter and they have respect to her mum as well. Her mum will come with me when i m bringing my doughter cyprus as well .
About Ukman

I think that in the UK Gav more people are willing to accept people of different races and cultures than in Cyprus. I grew up around people of all nationalities and have friends of differing races and that was beneficial to me.

I spoke to a Turkish Cypriot 16 year old last week and she told me that she does not like 'Black people'. Why? I asked and she could not answer. This is what the family have told her and she has never met an african american person or stepped foot in the UK.

This I have found being around a lot of people here is the attitude, as they are not used to dealing with other cultures. I think we are all better people for meeting other races.

My family also worked hard and so have me and my husband, but we don't say well stuff the UK and it's system. We have all had it hard and that includes the English, Scottish etc. We all work hard.

I had a baby in the UK and in Cyprus and although it was ok here I would not say that the doctors are better here than UK. Most people if they have a serious problem go to the Greek side, Turkey or UK for treatment.

About your last posting Gav. I am glad to hear that you have not had the problems I had with Family. I am not the only one and obviously as your family grew up in UK they are more open-minded.

I didnt say anything for the whole English people. This topic was the some people which they were very rude and they get on my nerves. I m coming in Cyprus with a English friend anyway . Mainly my problem is the United Kingdom and i said people here before as well that i dont like the system which uk use in here or around the world.
Do you think i like all the TCs or all the nationalitys. Its nothing to do whith the nationality. I have more TC then other country who f*** me up.(sorry but i dont know different words to explain). About 5 TC, 1 GC and 1 Another country(not English).
Thats all
