Yes you can get Russian channels through hotbird sat
I do not do installations but I can recommend someone who charges 20 Pounds.

To get UK channels you have to subscribe to the movie channel package. That is a different satellite system that is erdeto embedded and has a Common Interface Card Slot. This system is not available at this moment and cost can range from 65 - 140 just for the receiver. For the package you have to consult with an authorized distributor.

What movie package is for UK channels?? UK channels are on Astra 28E (SKY Digital) and the minimum dish used for these channels (movies) is 2.4m..
If you want the UK terrestrials you are looking at 3m-4.5m dish depending on the location in Cyprus
