the name of the game is reunification, togetherness maybe not having coffee parties right away together but at least business structeres such as ports and airports will start building trust no carrot or stick will be needed on either side.

Exactley bulio, now if we can all come to agreement one wonders why our elected leaders are finding it so impossible.

Alex your assesment is not wrong but i also know tc would very quickly forgive and forget with the right actions from tassos, thats all is needed.

im also glad to hear that, and im also sure that if the turkish general staff said that were cutting troop stregnth by a third and give locations of missing g/c,im sure g/c will also forgive and forget. mutual actions will build trust and forgivness to the other side.

Yes but you do understand that tc want this to happen( that is army reduction and closure for the gc on the missing loved ones), and have proved this by informing relevant people about what they know, we the tc are already trying to build bridges.

You know what is the biggest problem of TCs? Not being able to govern themselves. A federal solution will enable TCs to govern themselves in some degree.

Of course, if Hellenic ruling elite does not impose "the majority rule" upon TCs and in retaliation if Turkish ruling elite does not interfere the politics of TCs in order to give assistance. One way or another, after the solution TCs will depend upon the mercy of the Hellenic ruling elite, if of course Tassos together with his team have managed to get what he wants. It is obvious that Hellenic Ruling elite strongly desires to take full control of Cyprus for many purposes; such as Hellenistic, economical, militaristic etc.
