CYPRUS NATION??? MY ASS... this place is full of people that came from a different place each time! There is no such thing as Cyprus Nation! Look around you and see what IS there!
One one hand there is the cut by half Republic of Cyprus which has a Greek National Anthem, somewhat unfair for the 20% Turkish Cypriots, and on the other the TRNC which was installed like a virus after Turkey came here with troops to save 80,000 TC from the GC coup EOKA people... and the British enjoying still their bases...what a f*cking mess! but what Cyprus nation are you talking about? No such thing exists or will ever exist!

ask Alkan Gaglar if he would ever accept Papdopoullos as a president of United Cyprus or Cyprus nation.... i think he would disagree to ANY GC to be President... it is not enough to critisise others, what about his own? Talat is president of what> why doesnt Alkan Gaglar, who now writes for turkish Daily News and Cyprus mail and toplumpostasi and maybe he writes to me as well, explain how the turkish flag and the TRNC flag are BOTH flying in the North?

this is very true...this is as fake as the Soviet or Yugoslav or Macedonian nation......we are proud to be cypriot but this is the same as a cretan is proud to be cretan

what do you expect? we are greeks, why wouldnt we want to have our national flag ( with the official cypriot flag ) on the frontier where the turkish flag is flown with the pseudo flag. When the occupation is over and there is justice we can have a respect between the communities where the greek and turkish flags can be flown within the communities and the cyprus flag in official places

Here we go we're still talking about this tired out pointless subject. Gosh why are people trying to run away from what they are? . Does it really matter what we call ourselves? NO It makes no difference to the situation and never will till a settlement. If people want to call themselves Cypriots then good for them, if I want to call myself Turkish Cypriot then I expect people to give me the same curtesy because I like who I am and have no intentions of running away from it anytime soon.
