Well, now that Ledra Street is almost open I guess the two communities should improve their communication social skills so here’s the GC contribution of standard swear-words towards this admirable Cypriot cause:

Vlakas - Idiot
Garos - Donkey (thick as donkey)
Maimouna - Monkey face
Vlimma - Missile (metaphor for idiot)
Garathkiozi - Clown
Kavli tis Anginarras - Artichoke's stub (used to tease small things)
Malapappa - A softie or wimp
Lastihari - Supporter of APOEL FC (considered a demise!)
Asshetos - Irrelevant (attacks one’s knowledge)
Hazos - Dumbo/Moron
Goummouni - Commie (communist)
Fasista - Fascist
Tsitsifiongo - This is an oldie so I can’t remember it!
Bambakonouri - Another oldie…
Shillostrae - Dog-blind ???


I hereby release this fine list to the public domain as it is by no means complete...
