Congratulations to the RoC for their action. I believe it is a step forward. I also belive the RoC ought to open the other crossings, and perhaps argue with the UN to force turkish troop withdrawl from the vicinity of the crossings, however with more crossings oppenning what does that mean for illegal immigrants arriving from the north via turkey and also the large numbers of settlers living permanently in the north.

Shahmaran, could you please tell me if you know what the population of north Lefkosia is and also that of Morphou? Are they the two largest towns of the trnc? thanks

Humanist, I'm not entirely sure about the exact population but i think the 2 largest would be, Nicosia and Famagusta (maybe Famagusta first because it does extend pretty far out west), followed by Kyrenia and Morphou. All 4 of these places have big universities so it can vary but the biggest one is in Famagusta so I'm sure that adds plenty to it...


Get Real! & Andri_cy, i have been using cracked version of XP for many years, i just thought its time i buy the real thing, i think the OEM version of Vista is pretty much the same as the OEM version of XP, both around 100 pounds, and i truly hope that Vista is not another ripoff from MS like ME was, i mean they really are advertising it to be something completely new and amazing...

Don't know if you want to subscribe to the site below but I get the magazine. Although it is a bit geekish I think it gives good information. Their account of Vista is that it is actually slower and will not work on some older machines. It is memory hungry and slower than the XP.

Most Nicosia garbage (sorry that's what it really is) get's tossed at the "Kotsiadis" rubbish tip. You drive south from Nicosia till you reach "Tseri" and the next place after that is "Kotsiadis". Simple.
