really how come?

slow for starters, memory hungry, unstable, not compatible with a lot of software and packed with too much razza mattaz.

get real, lets say the first service pack won't come about for another 12 months or so. It took xp about 12 months fo the first service pack and that came about from win NT, a know and reliable engine. Vista is a new beast and the service packs won't come around for a long time to come.

i can safely say, a data managers nightmare.

the man has vision no doubt about it.

to be honest i never had much respect for him but today i have one helluva lot, due to his foundations. he is the greatest philanthropist that walked the palnet to this very day.

2 mistakes IBM made in the late 70s.
1. outsourcing the cpu from intel, 8080 chip
2. outsourcing the software from MS
I say mistakes because at the time these 2 companies were worth nothing, but for some strange reason, IBM thought outsourcing was the answer, when they firstly could have developed the technology in house and secondly, if they couldn't they should have bought them out.

I guess someone screwed up big time

Well done Fanos, even if these guys do not want to see what is really happening I am with you at least. The TRNC build a perfectly good bridge and the fuss caused was unbelievable. We then knock it down and along comes TPap a month or so later and opens it up again what a fiasco.

I still do not get what this street will look like. Will it be half a high street on either side so if you want to visit the whole lot you have to go through a checkpoint? If the checkpoints are going to be moved to the ends of the street who is going to police and maintain it. Unless both sides agree to something then this is just another farce and the moving of the army is just another election call as you say.

what is so unresonable about asling for the buildings to be checked if they're safe, the un to check for mines and for the troops to withdraw from the checkpoints?

Nothing DT but all that could have happened with the bridge intact and functioning.

why??/the bridge was built to facilitate your troops from passing under it.

If the troops get withdrawn then why need a bridge?

If the troops are not withdrawn, why need an opening. The bridge was pointless and so is this opening. That is my piont. Should they not have just talked first and agree a way?
