fano, I know that you write what you are getting paid to write and I would be surprised if you didn't.

A few months ago you were kicking and shouting about Tpap not demolishing the wall and now instead of welcoming the move you choose to feed Cypriot people with more venom and propaganda.

I still don't understand what is wrong with what tpap asks from the TC side in order to open the passage. The GC side asked for the turkish troops to be withdrawn at least 100m back, the same will happen with the National Guard - the same happens for the other passages that are opened. Could you please let me know if you disagree with this request from the GC side?

I am not a fan of tpap, quite the opposite actually and I have stated this in previous posts, but aren't you being a bit unfair here? The guay demolished the wall, Talat just demolished a bridge that he built a year ago. Common logic says that the status quo only changed from the GC side as mr Talat haven't done anything compared to 2 years ago. It is like saying tpap built a second wall only to demolish it a year later leaving the first wall standing.

I do not disaggree, but why dont they open up everything and they keep f*cking our brains? Mind you opening the checkpoints, or boarders or whatever you call the passage from North to South and Vice Versa,is not a final solution to our problem...All agree that it will help though....so i will call Talat and tell him to go on with it!! OK, this isn't the berlin wall falling down, but it is progression of some sort, and with the lack of any progression for so long, it's to be applauded.
The GCs are probably playing the same pathetic PR games that the TCs and Turkey play, but it's still a step in the right direction...

well may he one day get knocked down just as hard as well!

on the other hand, if they really wanted to open another gate, it should have been near Lefke so we can make some use of it too, more tourists would have been nice, but i guess it had to be something more symbolic for whatever reason that might be, so i guess good luck to them, but i'm not driving all the way to Nicosia specially to see the stupid gate anyway....
