Well what are you complaining about GetReal with those Greek soldiers & flags all over the place?

They happen to be Cypriot soldiers of the RoC army.

 and the flag?

Interestingly the RoC could get rid of the Greek flags on the entire island by the end of the week if they wanted to but I'd like to see the "TRNC" do the same with Turkish flags! :)

Etzevit would probably come back from the dead and do a "peace operation" on you!

If that is the case then all the more reason to feel ashamed......Why are they still there..........?

I mentioned about the flag on Friday, Yes, definitely must go.

I guess every little bit helps. Just compare to where we were 10 years ago and how things have changed. These things take time. I watched the news at lunchtime and all looked very well except one thing, two flag poles and Cypriot and Greek flags. The Greek flag must go I think. Maybe that might be the next step.

The next step need to be the withdrawal of both the Turkish and the RoC armies from the area. The RoC has confirmed and actually asked that this happens asap. What it remain to be seen is whether the Turkish army will allow the crossing to open by withdrawing from the area.

For your information, the military presence on the north of the Green Line in Nicosia is and has always been GKK..(Turkish Cypriot army) No Turkish army in the area...
