Hello all,

Well its run a few days now and everyone who wanted to contribute I think has done.

I'm very encouraged by the results. I appreciate everyone's opinion, and I'm pleased that you felt able to express your views honestly.

I think we'll be OK and we're looking forward to becoming part of the Cyprus community. I understand we won't be welcome by everyone, but that's OK - I think, knowing Cypriots, we'll just be tolerated by those who don't want Brits around, as opposed to having any animosity directed towards us. I hope though that those who don't want us in Cyprus will at least give us the chance to make friends.

But, when we do get there, we'll welcome everyone to our house (no need to phone!) and I hope we can say "mi fila" (is that right?) to everyone.

Come and don't worry about anything Richie. As long as you accept Cyprus and Cypriots then Cypriots and Cyprus will accept you as well

When you get there Ritchie , live your life as you and your wife would like to without the worry of annoying any one. Provided , and this applies equally to all nations , you do not carry placards threatening to behead anyone being rude to the Brits , you will be ok mate !!!
