My father have 2 houses
1 near Old Bypass and the building was finished 1973
one near makarios road or smilar nera paphos road old house which he lived there
Also we have many lands in Paphos

He moved UK before 1974 and we looking advise if we can get this buildings and lands back . We didnt have anything in north exchange for it and still we have the deeds.
Any solicitor details who understand about this will be good

You probably don't need a lawyer As the TC properties in the south are protected, all you need to do is take your title deeds the government and tell them youy want your property back. There is some conditions (IE apply for your passport, this isn't a problem as they issue about 1000 a month to TC's), there will be time issues if you want to sell straight away But if your property hase been resumed for infrastucture you will need a lawyer to to get fair settlement. This is not cypriot thing it is government thing the world over

I m coming Cyprus in next few weeks and i will look what i can do. About your propertys its a section which i beleive EU controled court and you can apply there and they will give you back if they didnt give to a TC exchange for his property in the south , if this is the case they will pay compensation for it . But as much as i know papadopulus dont want GCs apply to this court. Also if you are not happy with this court decision then after you can apply for EU Humanrights court. Hope this helps.

Let us have some more details , if your sister's land had the legal documents at the time it is still her property and the RoC will not tell her to come back when there is a solution. I would personally support your sister in any way I can to ensure that what was hers legally then it is hers and no one else's now. I do not know where you got that information from but please email me some details.

If it a house you can get it back quite easily but if it is land with refugee units built on it , well thats a little harder,as in you have to wait until accomodation is provided for everyone, that said the land still belongs to the original owner
