How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Indeed? So I might bump into him on the streets? Although I wouldn't actually know who he was...Does anyone know what VP looks like?..It's a shame we don't have an album section...I could have invited him for coffee (After we'd bumped into one other of course..).

Anyway, lets hope he does come back, it'll be quite strange without him..

I am telling every1 to write a comeback poem or compose a song, but no1 listens to me :([/quote]

Ok Karma, just knocked one up for you...........and VP.

Return beloved friend VP

Even foe hearts ache for thee

A lonely lamppost
Standing still
Will not find love
That is until
He stirs himself
And finds the will
To move just thirty yards

Zan that's a beautiful poem..I really enjoyed reading it! I have a lot of respect for people who can write poetry, I've tried but every attempt always ends in failure unfortunately... :?

Well VP, I hope you don't go, I honestly can't imagine the forum without you..

The truth is, VP is now on holidays or a bussiness in the UK Natty.
Info by curtesy of Zan.

He rejected everyone's coffe invitation Natty, but good luck

Thanks for the heads up Andri, maybe my invitation will be accepted when he finds out that I make the best coffee...officially...

 Hold up Karma, I was just about to answer...I swear...

Your poem is also really good and rather witty and I do like a witty poem or two!

(You also speak the truth!! We all really do need olive oil because otherwise I've heard we would spontaneously combust... :? )

I was also going to say, you definitely have good taste....first Dalaras and now Kavafi...

I also think he's a brilliant poet, I love 'Ithaka'...beautiful..:)

Oh and Zan, your welcome you really are a good poet...and you Karma of course...In fact I think we should have a poem thread where anybody and everybody can write their poems...Hmmm..there's a thought...
