Viewpoint's Farewell Thread

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby miltiades » Fri Mar 09, 2007 10:34 pm

Kikapu , no doubt he will be , or rather they will be back . My own belief is that he did work for the Information department , no doubt about that. The answers he / they gave were textbook , in over 4000 posts not once did they mention the RoC without inverted commas. Not once did they deviate from their agenda in that the T/Cs were massacred by the G/Cs and therefore can never live together again. Most us accepted and some apologised for their side's misdemeanours extending a hand of friendship and forgiveness . I stated many times that one of my ambitions is to see a T/C President of Cyprus , I elaborated by adding that should we reach that scenario we would have solved all our problems , in fact I called it Utopia. Never once did they respond , naturally they did not expect that statement by a G/C and no text book reply was available , it was therefore ignored.
They will be back but not for a few months , not until a new strategy is prepared.

It is all possible Miltiades. In fact, as you were writing this, "Viewpoint" appeared at the bottom of the page for a brief second, meaning VP is around. I guess the computer automatically logged him on, but long enough for me to see it, before he logged off.

It all came about when I asked VP a certain question awhile back, and he replied in hopes of getting information from me as to who I am, but in actual fact, he gave himself away without realising it, but he does now, because just few days ago, he was reminding me not to relieve any personal information on him, on the forum, which I already told him, that I would never do that, even to my worst enemy. I believe VP's propaganda is to support certain people, which a Unified Cyprus will not be helpful to them. I think VP is on a Holiday for a week or two, then he will be back, with a "fresh face" after he "reinvents himself", is the reason I used the "Curly and Duke" analogy in my last post above.

Land activities? Selling stolen GC land through web-sites on the internet?

If Pyro leaves I will marry Gavcar

I don't believe I reveled in any glory over VPs demise,Zan...
I said I did not regret my role in his demise or words to that effect.
Let me repeat my logic :If VP was an individual like most of us here, given his posting history he/she (I often thought there was a woman amongst them!) would not be able to stay away away, because he would be an addict....
On the other hand if he/she /they were part of a TRNC IO team of propagandists, they would easily walk away, only to return under another one or more nicks. So nothing lost nothing gained... :) :) :)

The question for you Zan is this:if I stopped posting because I were too ill or because I died, would you give a damn???

Can we get on with life now?

DT wrote: in my opinion the more points of view there are the better this forum becomes. VP was an annoying repetetive member sometimes but every now and then he did produce an argument which although i'd disagree with in substance I enjoyed its form....so i don;t think anyone should be celebrating for the departure of a member.

So do I have to answer your question or is it ok with your post???

I am one of the people that have often argued and even harshly criticized Viewpoint for her views, but I have a feeling that this prolonged and massive picking up and “attack” on the person and the identity and capacity under which she was posting, was not necessary and fair, as it went beyond the mere views she was expressing and touched on other personal and private elements of the person.

Whatever viewpoint is, it is none of our business but only hers, and it shouldn’t have become the subject of such long “debates” and commenting.

Even though I often argued and disagreed with what she was saying, I have to say that I found Viewpoint to be an educated person with depth and values, and almost always I could often read between the lines of her posts that she was struggling with her own consciousness and cognition on the one hand, and her other need to unconditionally defend the historical and officially established Turkish and TC leadership positions. That however doesn’t mean that she works for or she is employed by the Turkish propaganda machinery, and even so, why should it matter?

Good luck to everyone, no bad feelings and bye bye.

VP this is really bad news for all of us TCs. I just got back from Australia to find one great news and a very sad one. I was delighted with Muratagas miraculous recovery from his surgery and then I read your post and feel like I've been kicked in the balls.

Please reconsider your decision on this matter. Take a little time out and come back soon. I would take all the accusations and insults from the you know who gang with a pinch of salt.

You are the true voice of all TCs, you represent the vast majority of us and put up a good fight. It is for this reason you have been singled out by some forum members. I, and almost every other TC member of the forum subscribe to everything you say on the Cyprob.
I hope to see you back soon. MR.

For a person that doesn’t even know where exactly on his own body, his own arse is located, how on earth can you claim and assert that VP represents and is a true voice of all the TCs? Speak about your self, and you definitely have the right and perhaps the capacity (I hope) to confirm that VP represents you; but how can you claim that this is the case for all or most of the TCs, when if I take you to 90% of Cyprus’s places and live you there alone, you won’t find your way back to Lefkosia or home?

And who said to you that in here one comes in order to put up a “good fight?” Or is this your motive and the reason you joined the forum?
