VP, don't leave the forum, how are we going to know what the specials are at Orphanides?
Come on, silly, lighten up.

I acknowledge my part in VPs demise, and to be honest I can't say I regret my actions.Listen to my logic: If VP was one individual with no links to the TRNC Information Office,we could easily say from the volume of his/her posts and the length of time he/she was a member,THAT HE WAS AN ADDICT OF THIS FORUM...
And as we all know, addicts cannot walk away from their addictions just at the snap of a finger or two.
So,if VP was not a TRNC paid propagandist he/she will not be able to walk away from this forum. If she/he can walk away that easily then, for my money,he/she was a paid agent of the TRNC propaganda machine...End of story.
The Information office will now take a rest and regroup. They actualy told all of us way back when the avatar was changed to the current one that they were a team ! I disagree with sentiments expressed by some that the repetitive VP will be missed. The posts never once contained one iota of conciliatory input , the focus was on the present situation becoming permanent with out a solution leading to a united Cyprus. This is indeed worrying since it appears that the official policy of Mr Talat , as handed down by Turkey , is the permanent partition / annexation of Cyprus to Turkey. This is a policy of the "TRNC" reinvigorated by the rejection of the Annan Plan and the blind belief that it is now a matter of a very short time before recognition by the international community. The hopes were raised when Condoleeza Rice visited Turkey last year. The leadership began to pop the champagne in readiness for a formal USA recognition , knowing fully well that such recognition would herald the end of isolation and the beginning of a new era. The application to the British Government and the subsequent rejection of their request for direct flights was another massive disappointment .
I do not rejoice for one second at the isolation of a section of our Cypriot people but take comfort in the prospects for a solution unifying our island and our people .
