Areeba Sim Cards Orange Phone?

Postby Kent » Wed Mar 07, 2007 3:33 pm

Hi All

Just wondering if i can pick up a Areeba Sim and just fit into a UK Orange Phone without Unlocking the Phone.

going too be Visiting Next Week on a Fact finding trip so it would be handy too pickup a local Sim card to use while over there and get a Number ready for when we Move over there later this Year

Cheers Kent

I bought a "locked" orange contract phone from the UK, and it worked fine in CY.

JB Got me thinking.
so I had a little fish around the web and found a nice forum that if you let them know your IMEi number and provider they generate the unlockign code for you.
so now my Phones unlocked :D

the main point of my question witht hsi thread was too see if I can just pick up a sim card next week when I'm over there, too use for the few calls I'll be making without paying the 60ppm that I'd be payign with Orange.
It will also give me a Number that is ready to use, for when we Move out there later this Year

Kent

you can buy a prepaid card for either Cyta or Areeba at any kiosk

If you phone is unlocked just put it in and it will work
