Do you hate Greece?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Lets then hear what the GCs of this forum can tell us about your views.
So far Miltiades and me expressed our disagreement with most of what you said about Cypriots, the Cypriot economy, the question whether Greece can defend Cyprus, and the responsibilities of Greece about the catastrophe in 1974.

I already quoted Christofias on the 1974 coup. Do you want me to quote some of the things your presidents have said about the dependance of Cyprus on Greece too? Because, thank god, Clerides and others have been honest on this issue...

So Greeks turn Turks, Cypriots turn Greeks and Turks turn Brazilians :?

So you too do not see the sameness between Greek Cypriots and Greeks, right? Have you EVER been to Cyprus?!?

As for the Turkish serials I only know that there was one airing in Greece because if I remember correctly it was about an affair between a Turk and a Greek or something like that. Please, if you're gonna argue my points, do it in a more mature fashion

Uhm... no, you just made that up. Quit it already, it's a stupid argument anyway

Really you see that? Really? I'm sorry, I don't speak Turkish so I can't ask a Turk if they see that too

Blood? Who talked about blood? Did I ever post anything about a "greek homogenity" or other crap like that? WHY DO YOU PEOPLE KEEP PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH?!?!? I said what I'll say again, that GCs and Greeks SHARE THE SAME NATIONAL IDENTITY. No blood, no DNA, and no "similar cultures either". An ethnos is not defined by blood, it's defined by a common (again, common - NOT similar) culture

The language is included in the properties of what is defined as culture as is religion (not in terms of belief, but as a traditional element). I really can't understand how you see Greeks and Turks as the same, there are obviously many common elements in the two cultures but to call them the same culture is irrational

The western coast of Turkey is just a showcase, and even there, I have to disagree, there is no shared culture with Greece, just a few common elements as I've already said

Do they speak Greek? Do we speak Turkish? Are we taught the same history, the same religion, the same human values? No, no, no, no and no. Drinking similar types of coffee and eating dolmades is not enough to declare the two peoples as one!
