I currently have a site, unfortunately due to the Rules and Regulations stated by Cyprus-Forum I am unable to disclose this site, it is however related to promoting my business.

Unfortunately I do not know how to advertise it online, I have already tried to advertise it on site like google, msn, yahoo and ask. The site is ranked near the bottom and I do not know how to get it up in the top 10 at least.

I have already used META TAGS and I have paid google to advertise it, but unfortunatly there are not that many hits.

What can I solve this? I want more people to visit my site and I want them to stay and like it.

You list it in your 'profile' - that way it will be in the www box at the bottem of your postings!

When doing site optimisation, what would your advise be?

Do you have any good books/material you advise me to go on. I have looked online however most of it directs me to companies who want me to pay them for it. I am currently working for myself and since I have a related computer degree I feel it might be useful to do it myself rather than pay a corporate company.

When you say 'Site Programming', do you just mean HTML, CSS or is there something else I am missing?

Thanks for your help guys, I have found a book on SEO I am going to have a read of it and see what it says. This topic is such an important topic in websites because without visitors your site is useless.
