The Arab world is reportedly preparing for recognizing The T

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I would ask everybody to refrain from using racist remark about the arabs or any other nation. These are human beings and indeed a very proud people.

Gold member, one of my all time favourites. The incident in the medical room with Mini-me is a classic :D

Get Real! wrote:The "Arab world" you mention doesn't clarify if it refers to OPEC, the Arab League, or anything else, but do keep in mind that much of the Arab/Muslim world has a profound respect for the RoC for they have been...

1. Staunch supporters of the Palestinian plight (Extremely important to Arabs/Muslims).

2. A safe refuge for Lebanese refugees during 4 separate wars.

3. A strong trading partner of all Mediterranean Arab/Muslim countries

4. Extremely helpful to "other" Arab/Muslim causes. (this I won't discuss here :) )

5. A safe neutral ground where Arabs/Muslims meet the West.

Turkey on the other hand has a very poor standing with her Muslim "brothers", something made even worse in the last year or two with Turkey's closer ties to Israel; the Arab/Muslim's major enemy.

i wouldnt count on the Arabs if i were you, they are known the be master-sellouts through out history specially when money is involved, considering that Turkey is giving them so much investment, including Turk Telekom, it wouldnt be unexpected if they suddenly do a 180 turn on you

I don't share your views about Arabs/Muslims or Iranians for that matter and I'd sooner trust them than the likes of US/UK/Australia/Israel.

What can I say... good luck convincing the Lebanese, Syrians, Jordanians, and Egyptians to side against Cyprus.

I have many Arab/Muslim virtual friends, many of which are professors in Universities all over the Middle East and most are exceptional scholars in their field of expertise; they never cease to amaze me and have my outmost respect.
