The Arab world is reportedly preparing for recognizing The T

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What about the ones from "hurriye"? I completely ripped that bitch apart till she had to block me to stop me making comments about her.

She did some stupid videos with a picture of Ataturk and she actually went through the trouble of animating his mouth to make it look like he was speaking.

however, that text you quoted says that, You Tube has been temporarily "suspended" not banned and that is only done by Turk Telekom and only to the domain name, as pistilos said, it is still available directly from the ip, however all other ISPs still give access to the site as normal so its nothing too serious and pretty temporary...its probably until YouTube agrees to remove all that crap, but considering most of You Tubes existence relies on broadcasting such controversial stuff, it might be a bit of an issue...

end of the day its sad when a website can force state policy, especially by some pimply kids

Pistilos, it is in effect depending on what ISP you use, and i totally aggree that it is sad to see, its very typical of Turkish politics to eliminate the most immediate threat, usuallly by ignoring its actual roots, be it youtube, headscarfs, religious clothings, etc. Turkey is all about symbolism and it drives me mad how much time people spend on trying to look out for small signs that might be provocative or insulting anything Turkish...

DT, the guy has removed his clips, but there was so much response from the Turks that now the place is flooded with their shit, but i can assure you that his clips were just as cheap and ridiculous as the ones you saw from the Turks...

In my opinion the problem in all such cases, including the Danish cartoons, the speech of the Pope etc. is not with the fact that people are exercising their freedom of speech, but they are deliberately trying to be provocative while hiding behind their rights, when they know that sensitive people are definately going to get insulted, so i dont know who is more stupid, the provocateur or the provoked....
